You won't have to worry about pest issues
When you first move into a new home, you may experience a brief moment of pests until you start with pest control, then they will leave. This is most common when buying a home in a rural area or on a large piece of land, and it is just because the pests won't be used to a home being in the center of their stomping grounds. If you buy a new home in a neighborhood, this is likely not going to be an issue.
